Some people are happy today. And some are bitterly disappointed. It's at times like this that we need to remember that whatever party you support, or if you can't support any of them, there's more than unites us than divides us.

Instead of throwing around insults at the 'woke' on the left, or denouncing all conservatives as racists, let's celebrate instead the common values of decency which we all share, no matter where we put our X yesterday.

And I can think of no better way of doing that, than to rally around the cause championed here by Mr Exploding Maybe...

Let us all commit now to hunting down those who use 'staycation' to mean having a holiday somewhere in the UK, and strangling them all in their beds like the vermin that they are.
