After they obviously did find that a Tory donor did pay for this work, they've concluded he simply "unwisely" allowed work to go ahead without "more rigorous regard" for how it would be paid for. It's the kind of thing at face value I suppose the masses wouldn't care about anyway, but after the amount of contracts handed out for medical products and services during the pandemic, with some not even fit for purpose in the case of face masks, it'd be interesting to know who exactly paid for this work. |
