I get what they were going for and it's even in the tutorial section it's just that so many other players either don't know about it or refuse to use it...

And then you have one dude smashing the ship into some island because they need something there, the other one angrily dropping the anchor until the ship is pointing where they want to go...

But when it does work it's great...
