Whereas I could unplug my PS4 network cable and play any disc game for good.
As could Valve, Epic, EA, Ubi etc. in the PC space and yet the very thought of that happening is laughable. While I don't disagree that they could, I don't think they ever would. Yes, MP servers and support will fade away for titles over time, but that's always the case on all platforms, regardless of Physical v's Digital. |
