Hmmm, game prices bought me down to earth with a bump. When I saw the price for the consoles, I'd decided to go Digital on Day 1. Seeing that €70 price tag on games has given me pause for thought. I now find myself questioning the launch line up for the first time - I was kinda already of the frame of mind that my PS5 would primarily be a console to hoover up the late PS4 releases (Cyberpunk) and then, 6 months/a year down the line start into the big 'next gen' hitters. I think those game prices have just offset my purchase for 6 months, especially considering the news of HZD2 and Spiderman etc. will be cross gen. Shame, as I have the funds ready to go. I guess I can keep saving with a view to also picking up the inevitable PSVR2 next year. [Edit] - Just read this - 'For PlayStation Plus members, we’ll have a special new offering on PS5 – the PlayStation Plus Collection**. PS5 owners with PS Plus will be able to download and play a curated library of PS4 games that defined the generation, like Batman Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, God of War, Monster Hunter: World, Persona 5 and many more. The PS Plus Collection will be an added benefit to the existing PS4 benefits that PS Plus members receive for a single subscription price.' So for the nominal €6 a month we pay for PS+ we get the Playstation version of Gamepass? That seems like it could be a big deal, if the library is ever expanding.
