I blame all the videos I watched before release. Somehow I thought it would be magical but it’s just an improved step up from the Switch haptics.

This is interesting because for me I was really excited about the Switch's haptics but they left me totally cold, but the DS has absolutely blown my mind. Maybe it is just an incremental improvement, but it's (for me at least) also that tipping point where a feature suddenly just clicks and changes everything. A bit like the first iPhone vs touch screen phones which had come before it. |
