The PlayStation customer services phone line is just awful, I spent 45 mins on hold yesterday trying to get through as the spring has gone in the trigger and the right stick has drift on my dualsense. Even though I told the guy on the phone that it is a hardware fault I had to go through all the usual nonsense of resetting and updating controller software and re-pairing it to the console, after almost an hour and a half on the phone we eventually came to the conclusion that it will need to be sent in. Apparently he was unable to comment about all the controller issues they are having but did admit to receiving lots of calls about them. Now I’m looking at 3 weeks without the console again - after having the main unit sent back for issues in December. I don’t even want to buy another dualsense as they clearly have problems with build quality, I wish Sony would allow 3rd party controller support for ps5 games its shit that you are forced to use a dualsense, I would buy an Astro c40 today if it was possible to use with ps5 games.
