Hang on a second. I was going round gifting my villagers presents, accidentally cancelled giving them a present, they asked if I'd forgotten to wrap it (I hadn't) and gave me 3 red wrapping papers.

Why are some of the mechanics of this game so bloody obscure?

edit: they also gift you the colour variations of the time limited toys on sale at Nooks.
