Thanks for confirming what I suspected re: regeneration. What I need to check next time I play is whether the regeneration is absolute or if it only fills the current segment of his health bar - the former would make it much tougher and, yes, even tempt me to re-roll the campaign (given I'm only a few hours in).

Anyway, the game is otherwise really enjoyable. I just think since (or because of?) Sekiro I've developed a real aversion to slogging away at bosses 20+ times.
