I’m on a CX and have it set to 120hz with VRR on and 60hz games are as smooth as they should be.

Even without VRR, setting the console to exactly double the refresh rate shouldn’t cause judder as you are getting a frame exactly every two panel refreshes. It’s a mismatch that causes the uneven frame times that cause judder. Even when you do get miss match due to dropped frames it’ll appear to judder less as the frame times are half as long than at 60hz.

And if you have VRR on the TVs refresh should exactly match the frame rate so no refresh/frame rate miss match judder.

Check your TV settings and make sure you are on the latest firmware.
