On XBox if you bring up the info panel (manage games, highlight game tile & press menu button), it indicates what type of version is installed:
    XBox One - self explanatory
Gen9 - dedicated Series X/S version, requires Velocity Drive
Gen9 aware - XBox One version that takes advantage of Series X/S & will run off external drives
Some Gen9 aware games are not identified by the X/S logo while some are eg Chronos: Before the Ashes & The Elder Scrolls Online are Gen9 aware with no Series X/S indication and don't show up in when you sort games by console type, while We Happy Few & Ori 2 are Gen 9 aware with the appropriate logo

The Division 2 is still showing in the info panel as XBox One, so I suspect that either the latest patch didn't update for running on Series X/S or the patch didn't change the version description. It has been so long since I last played it that I can't tell if has been improved or not....
