This is such a bleak, depressing topic. And I fear the IPCC report was too tame. We're increasingly going to hear "faster than expected" in relation to Climate trends. In short we are goosed unless something drastic happens. As in civilization taking a massive step backwards as early as 2030. Electric cars and renewable energy are not going to get us out of this as what we've released in to the atmosphere has baked in hundreds of years heating already. Turning off all fossil fuels tomorrow would actually increase the temperature as the particles released through consumption actually reflect alot of heat out.
