    @drhickman1983 is it really 'just dumb'? We've not seen a pandemic on this scale in our lifetimes and this is just the beginning.

    It's hard not to look at the utterly tragic situations in Italy and Iran and worry about that coming our way in a very short space of time. I'm bricking it about getting it myself even as a young relatively healthy person, let alone what it might mean for my parents and other older people I know and care about and millions of others who are in more vulnerable groups.

    The government doc saying 4 in 5 will contract in the next year, 8m may need a hospital bed and hundreds of thousands will die.

    I think it's perfectly normal to be anxious and panicky about all of that. That's before even factoring in the much less important but still worrying stuff like impacts on everyday life, finances, job losses, social stuff etc.
