The female soldier definitely stuck mine in far enough, I watched the fairly long needle go in .... I also developed a slight fever overnight and had the usual flu-like aches, pains and headache for about 36 hours. It was all very moderate though and plenty of people I know and others who I've read about online seem to have the same reaction.

So I can report with great confidence that my immune system responded as I had expected.

Some of those people I know who had the fiercer NHS jabs didn't have any side effects at all other than very sore arms. Go figure.
