This concert was originally restricted to FDA-approved vaccine recipients but they backtracked and now accept WHO-approved ones (which includes AZ). I hope* this will end up becoming the policy on travel, otherwise they're going to be closing themselves off to vast numbers of European and, importantly, Canadian visitors. Also while the USA hasn't used it themselves, they have sent a lot of AZ doses abroad (including, again, to Canada) – can see it being diplomatically awkward if they refuse entry to anyone that took it. *largely because I got AZ and have a trip to the states booked in October I'm feeling increasingly pessimistic/depressed about. |
