Only citizens can travel back and two weeks managed isolation. It's going to reach where that is unsustainable. There's zero tourism and a shortage of key skills and labour.
Once NZ moves out of North Korea mode the floodgates open it will be difficult not to be in the same situation as European countries.

I'd be willing to go into total isolation for 6 months before emigrating if NZ offered to take me in and had a reasonably decent job available. It would make a pleasant change to live somewhere with a reasonably competent government. |
