Yeah, wife and I are booked in for our second dose of Pfizer on Friday in Narbonne. The French covid app has been really good; it's linked directly to the French health service through your individual carte vitale. During the major periods of lockdown, it enabled you to produce a digital attestation, stating why you were out and about (essential food shopping, workers etc.) and now it lets you produce a certificate detailing your vaccination information. So, for instance, I could evidence to anyone that asked when and where I received my first dose, that I've had no known record of having contracted the virus or come into proximity with anyone who later has, that I'm not currently being told to self-isolate/quarantine etc.

And from Friday, after I get the second dose, this will also produce the pass sanitaire that can be used to negotiate the new restrictions coming in.

Interestingly, French vaccine capacity is in a really good spot. At the time of Macron's announcement last night, there were 600k available slots for people to get vaccinated today. According to the news here, after the speech, these all disappeared and c.1 million appointments were made lol

Also worth pointing out that there isn't even a conversation about dropping mask usage going on here atm. It's still very much enforced and adherence to it, at least from my experience, has remained consistently high.
