@TheSaint - It's complete and utter madness. Reckless beyond belief and, like you say, most of the UK media are acting as if it's just an argument about wearing masks. Sure, the level of vaccination might be able to control the outbreak but it's a big fucking gamble with very little scientific evidence to support it. It is definitely reducing the death and hospitalisation rate dramatically but is only slowing the rate of infection. Without any other measures to limit spread in place, the high transmissibility of delta and a large population of partially vaccinated people seems like a disaster waiting to happen. |
