I had a problem getting the official headset to work despite it being recognised and the mute light working, just as you described. Turned out there was a 'headset mic' toggle setting that only appeared if you plugged in a standard pair of headphones with an inline mic (i.e. just using the 3.5mm jack). This effected the official headset even though the setting was hidden when that was plugged in. Took ages to work that one out. Might not be what you are experiencing, but worth a try. |
