Found this motherfucker in one of my solitary bee boxes today, female false widow spider. Just opened the box to clean it out and get it ready for bees, scared the living shit out of me.

On a brighter note, all my solitary bee boxes are ready for the awesome red mason and leaf-cutter bees to do their magnificent thing.
