    Hi all,

    *Asking for a friend*

So, a friend of a friend of mine wants to register a domain. This person registering the domain doesn't have access to a credit card, and has asked my friend if he could register on his behalf. i.e. My friend fills out the registeration form on this guy's behalf and pays use his own credit card. These two people know each other very well - friends of long standing - and the money will be repaid, though it is relatively little money anyway. The problem is the lack of credit card.

Now, my inital reaction is that this shouldn't present any problems. However, my friend's wife has said that it's a bad idea. I guess the question that's concerning her is: what will the domain be used for? In particular, will there be any connection to the payment method i.e. would the person who paid for the domain in good faith be liable or held responsible in any way should the domain be used for any nefarious activity?

    Any ideas?
