Not really feeling this. Quite gutted as I loved the L4D series and had high hopes for this, but they've somehow made it worse in pretty much every way. The ammo sharing is a particular annoyance, especially if you're on a team with some cunt just hoovering up all the bullets. Trauma damage is a complete faff around to heal and feels like busywork to get the doors unlocked to get to a med station and the card upgrades and looter-shooter weapon grades are just typical hangovers of modern shooters, I guess, but can actually make certain encounters feel a bit too easy towards the end of a run if you get a good series of drops. That said, if it's on game pass ultimate on PC I'll still play it through, but I can see people getting pretty bored of this fairly quickly. /Sadface |
