Hello! So to start, this was a plug and play system I played the game on. I can't remember which one, can't find it online, and my mom no longer has it, or else my search would've been much shorter. What I do remember about it is I played it young, age 5-8 type young. It would've been in our possession around 2003, making it either an early 2000s or late 90s plug and play. I do however remember it had around 8-12 games or so, and two of which were Sonic the Hedgehog, and Dr Robotniks Mean Bean Machine. Mappy might have been on it, or it was on one of the Namco ones we had and isn't relevant. I can't remember. The game in question was out of place. A little scarier, more Gaunlet type feel to it than the others. The name gave that away a bit, and when you hovered over the games in columns on the screen edges, it showed a little bit of the game. Because of this, my mom told me and my sister we weren't to play it. I remember sneaking it though. What I recall is a top down dungeon crawler. I remember skeletons, a crypt type environment, maybe blood, and sword combat. It looked okay, not fantastic but not terrible for its time. Played like an arcade game but I'm not sure if it was one. I've gone through and looked for it for days and I can't find it. It's not Golden Axe, or Gaunlet, or Ghouls and Ghosts, or anything like that. I specifically remember it being a top down perspective. Since I wasn't allowed to play it, I don't remember much else because child brain. If anyone has any recollection of this particular plug and play, or game, any help is appreciated. It's driving me nuts. |
