    Yeah this! We can't even begin to contemplate what humanity will be like after half a million years "extra" evolution!

    But, do we think Aliens or any advanced civilisation still have motivation? Once you get perfect VR that might be a lot more enticing than yet another water covered rock!

    Our great great grandparents would have dreamed of flying in a plane but we pull the window blind down and watch a film to escape reality.

    Imagine the first alien that heard music from a other planet, what a rush that would be. But there are other distinct civilisations here on earth now that the majority of the developed and developing world lump together into one homogeneous idea of tribes people. We're not rushing to hear their music. Of course there are Anthropologist who relish every new contact, but maybe they are in the minority on a galactic scale.

    Space politics might make things interesting though?
