Hi, Has anyone had any luck and have any advice on getting Sony to replace a DualSense controller that has stick drift? I've only had my PS5 for about 9 weeks (purchsed new from Amazon), and due to having a young toddler it hasn't exactly had excessive play in that time. In my case the issue is on the left stick, and is particularly noticeable when playing Demon's Souls. However I've also noticed the issue on occasion whilst playing Metro Exodus. And most recently I've noticed the issue also occurs in Returnal. The latter example of Returnal is an interesting one, because it turns out that game has fairly extensive controller configuration options, and I've discovered that upping the "minimum left stick" (ie. left-stick deadzone) setting from its default value of 15% to 27% pretty much alleviates the problem in that game. However for games without such options, and in particular those with intentionally very tiny deadzones such as Demon's Souls, I'm stuffed. ...So back to my original question, has anyone managed to get Sony to replace their bundled DualSense? Has anyone heard of any success stories elsewhere? And does anyone have any advice on how best to start that process? Cheers! |
