One of the worst things is the absolute lottery of what kind of child you'll end up getting. First born was golden in the early years, wasn't clingy, slept from about 6 weeks old, ate everything you put in front of him and was generally pretty chill. This lulled us into a false sense of security so we decided to have baby number 2. He's been an absolute nightmare, sleep is now OK age 3 but pretty much for the first 6 months he wouldn't nap unless in our arms, he has the worst tantrums, kicking, screaming, biting, you name it. He's a fussy eater due to his grandparents just giving him biscuits all the fucking time. There's a big gap between the two boys, the eldest is nearly 14 and has basically turned into a bit of cunt so just adds to the stress. In short, DON'T DO IT! No but really, seriously think about it. |
