@Pierre2k There is no perceptible lag, it essentially uses a camera to control the mouse, you have to set your mouse sensitivity to max and you're away. I have played HOTD Overkill a fair but with the crosshair on and moving quickly around the screen there is no issue getting fast and accurate shots. The gun with recoil is not only loud its heavy as well, at first I was worried it would feel light and cheap but it's quite the opposite, if anything it feels slightly too heavy, possibly heavier than arcade GCons. It's not a deal breaker by any means but I think the non recoil unit might just be the perfect weight although I haven't tried it. If you want to play every lightgun game on the market then it's the answer. It works and it works well, the negatives are the noise of the recoil, the sometimes fiddly set up (it's still in beta to be fair), the weight might be too much for smaller children and the white border can not only be distracting but it also cuts into the game screen, it's not a border around the game it is in the game. Not a massive deal but agai, seeing bits of the screen cut off can be off-putting (you can make the default border thinner or change the colour though) Overall it does what it says and it's excellent as far as response and doesn't feel cheap. |
