Well this has made me a bit sad really. I still read the forum most days, despite not being that prolific in contributing anymore. Some genuinely brilliant memories of past gaming times were made on this forum. Particular highlights were always sharing the excitement of a new launch console (3DS particularly sticks in the mind for some reason) with like minded obsessives. Feels a bit like an era is dying (melodramatic, I know) even though there'll be a replacement that I've signed up for. Won't be the same without access to the history that goes way back though, I feel For all the harshness and real dark humour of this place, there's always been an understanding that it was all for play and there's been a great community spirit when people have been down on their luck in life. God bless every one of you old, perverted cunts. |
