I've just read this and if you don't know when you have been racist or homophobic pointing it out to you would be a pointless exercise. Even your use of "Woke" is designed to undermine it's true meaning and belittle those who stand for a fair society for all. "Woke" means to be aware, to consider ones actions and behaviours. It's not some cult trying to force some sort of sanitised one size fits all society. Humans by their very nature will make mistakes, they will hurt eachother. You can choose where you fit in to that and the rest of us can choose how to react. Seems fair.....Being more aware of others and the impact we have on eachother will NEVER be a bad thing. |
