@Velocityraptor I've been going back and forth between the Sony 900 and the Samsung Q80T. Both have slight issues but I think the Samsung seems the best from what I can tell as it does HDR gaming better than the Sony (and their initial firmware update didn't work out too good). The Sony 950 isn't much more money but has much better performance overall, including HDR but doesn't have HDMI 2.1. I convinced myself I want 2.1 with VRR because I won't be changing TV for at least 5 years, by which time I expect VRR and higher frame rates on consoles will have developed. As I'm wedded to the idea of going 65, can't spend LG Oled money I'm feeling like Q80T/Q90T is the way to go (despite the reports of dirty screen effect, stuttering, ad spam 😋  Edited by TheBlackDog at 11:23:17 13-11-2020 |
