    Isn't this why the whole "you can't cross your own time stream" rule is in place?

    She did say she remembered the conversation and she said no because she's had 36 years to think about who the Doctor really is.

    Paradox 1: Then this time around Old Amy changed her mind.

    Paradox 2: Young Amy was rescued so Old Amy never existed and her timestream disappeared as if it never existed. But for that to have happened in the first place her timestream had to have existed.
