Did you get the bravia in the end? If so, what are your experiences with it like?

I just got shut of my 36" CRT in preperation for a LCD and I'm drawn to the KDL- 46X2000.

    Hi DiscoMike

Sorry for the delay, I have been far too busy enjoying my 46-x2000. It beautiful, pure perfection. It's money well spent.
It's much better than the Pioneer I saw in comet.
I got Sky HD with it and after seeing the quality it's very hard to watch standard broadcasts. All my dvd are obsolete now!
: ( The discovery hd channels are especially amazing the colours are so vibrant and real.
I'm so happy I spent the extra money and went for a Sony Bravia.

I would also like to strongly recommend a sub woofer which I purchased :
    BK Monolith Subwoofer

Gears of war on this screen and my audio setup is amazing.

If you are going to check out the Bravia make sure you demo it at a store which is especially setup for demo's.
Most stores have these tv's running of the same ariel and the picture quality don't do the tv's any justice.

any other q's then pls ask away!
