As a lady gamer, there is one old adage that still rings true, 'Girls just wanna have fun' As a teacher, wife, mother, lover etc, why the hell do I want to troll through the latest dreary FPS/sim/'real' driving (give me a break) - aimed at 14 Yr old American boys - game when I could be hopping about on a dinosaur/ Keeping the Zoo/ or working out just how to get that last fucking coin! No my PS2/360/DS/PSP are not pink, yup I'll be in the Q for a PS3, and I am No 2 on the list for a Wii at the local Game, I love all sorts of games (still totally poo at Gears tho' !) I do think that Nintendo have done gaming a big favour lately, the DS has got many non-gamers interested, and I think the Wii may well help also, but God bless MS and Sony also for when you want to blow some fuckers head off in blistering HD! |
