Thanks Legate, I have made changes to try and improve my sleep quality in the past although nothing much seems to work. I very rarely drink coffee or alcohol, don't smoke anymore, exercise regularly and have f.lux on my PC monitor. I guess I could try a coloured light bulb or the sleep book you mentioned though, haven't tried that before. I agree with you on the risk of self-medicating, I may see a doctor in the near future but I would say I have the sense of mind to research any supplement thoroughly before I'd use it.
