For a start that atricle you pointed out was written by a disgruntled guy before the 1998 elections. Since then 4 years have passed and i know for a fact that most indians are not in absolute poverty(look up the difference later). Infact my fuckfaced american friend india produces enough food to feed the entire world, granted it needs to with its population size but they are far from the levels in somali. The economy isnt even at full capacity yet due to buracratic problems and politics, this would be cause its a democracy not a communisit state like china. Give it around 50 years and youll have a rival for china right on its doorstep, hell they have already striked a new space race. As for the US hedgemon (add it too your words to look up list) in 50 years time it will under threat from atleast one country in Asia if not a united Europe.

Specifically, a link proving that they make enough food to feed the entire world, and also a link proving that a majority of indians are not poor would be very nice. Though i hope you know that google will not find that answer for obvious reasons [*cough*- your wrong dipshit].
