Turns out I have very very tight calves / hamstrings and this is causing me lower back pain.
I am starting physiotherapy and have stretching exercises to do but does anyone know if using a weights machine like this:
to exercise my hamstrings is a good or a bad idea? Some of the reading I have done seems to suggest that doing that sort of exercise makes the hamstrings even tighter... I might be better off just doing the stretches and the physiotherapy for now but if anyone has any advice on this I should be grateful.
