I started my diet at the end of February with the end goal being to gain some visible abs. I started off (I'm 5ft7) at 75kg (2 years bulking) and as of today I'm 61.8KG, with my abs coming through nicely. Had a bit of a plateau late June to early July but I managed to break through it by starting to jog on the spot at home for 20-30 minutes a few times a week. Sounds pretty easy but you really start sweating after 10 minutes if you do it fast enough.

Not sure how people who drink can ever lose weight.
If you're drinking while dieting the best way to do it is try not to drink more than once a week (or if you do, have moderate amounts like 2 pints). If you're pressured to go a bit mad with the drink (e.g. stag do) then drink straight spirits (e.g. vodka/whisky) or have them with zero calorie mixers like diet lemonade or diet coke and do your best to take the abuse from your mates.

    Hope you get better soon.
