    I've completed a year of playing 5-a-side football, alongside responsible dieting. I've gone from 15 stone to 12 stone, to 95kg to 76kg if you prefer. I signed up to Man V Fat in Manchester - https://manvfatfootball.org/manchester

    Essentially you have to be over 30 BMI to qualify. I was already doing well with my food via Slimming World, but playing regular football every week (with bonus extra matches organised), coupled with playing with men of a similar size and predicament to me meant I was kept focused.

    There's some new leagues being set up in January, some have been set up as free leagues, due to Sport England's involvement, it's worth having a look and taking part if you want to get playing football again - https://manvfatfootball.org/Home/Registration
