thanks for all the comments the other day, I decided I'd give Netrunner a shot, and found that there are actually quite a lot of players in my area, so it doesn't really matter what my partner think

. i also gave quick look at the tutorial video and it seems really fun and refreshing compared to the classic magic/pokémon/star wars/and now warhammer way where you play monsters and heroes and such.

an acquaintance is going to teach me the game sometime soon and I managed to find the core set cheap (used only once). so now i'm thinking about get one data pack to start with as well. what are your recommendations?
i'd rather buy something that has cards for every corp/runner that one that singles in one specific kind of player, and rather something that is quirky and fun than good in a competetive scenario...
