@phAge i tried OCTGN ( http://www.octgn.net ) the other day, which is a online board game platform. i guess it's sort of a gray-area copyright-wise but most people who play actually own the game. anyway, you should try it if you want to play but don't have buddies. the guy i played with was a newbie as well.
