I also just got my Core Set. Tried a game of Weyland vs Shaper with the missus, but it was no hit. I actually think the mechanics aren't that hard to grasp, it's the strategy that's a bit hard to "get", you really don't know what you should try to do.

Lucky for me there's a small netrunner scene in my town, so I'm gonna play with them and see if I might learn something (=get my ass kicked).
