@GuiltySpark some Relic tips: • remember it's a race. the game is the most fun when you're pushing other players beyond their comfort zone and seeing them getting their asses kicked, even if that means you will too. so take risks and go into the middle and inner tier as early as possible. • you don't lose that much progress from dying. it's the corruption you have to keep in check (and makes you slow down) • use your power card numbers! the big turn-off with Talisman is the movement system where you're only able to move to 2 different spaces, but with every power card comes another option! just remember to use them before you roll the die. i personally like Relic more than Talisman because of the power card and corruption system as it feels like you're not depending on the dice as much as your risk/reward strategic decisions. can't wait for the expansion! |
