Well, it's been a great year for reprints and getting games translated/released in English. Just spotted At The Gates of Loyang.
I picked up Loyang last week. Played it solo, so far. It's an excellent game. Made me excited to set up Glass Road for a first play, this weekend.

Not sure how many of you follow kickstarter. I went from never touching it, to pledging for DRCongo, as it looked like it wouldn't fund (it did and the game is here already - and excellent), to suddenly having 19 fecking games on preorder though it.

The one I'm most excited for hasn't funded yet. Gloom of Kilforth, is a modular fantasy game which has had years of good word of mouth. The guy who has made it has crafted it for eight years - and it shows. It draws similarities to Magic Realm - without the insane complexity - among several other titles, but it's its own unique thing. The card art is phenomenal and it has some very tight gameplay. Sitting at four days off from the deadline and 97% funded, with stretch goals to follow. Give it a look if you want to try something genuinely different.

Kickstarter should be for this stuff, not bloody Queen Games using it as a preorder system.
