6-player game of Betrayal at House on the Hill yesterday. Tried it with 4 and 6 players now, and can't say that I find either very interesting. For a game that easily drags over 3 or 4 hours, the amount of interesting decisions you can make seems very, very limited, and the randomness often makes it hilariously unbalanced. Feels almost like a Talisman with slightly different movement rules and more downtime. Still, other people seem to enjoy it, so maybe it's just me. |
