Sandcastle - 7/10 Netflix original

Great cast with Cavill far better suited to this type of role than superman. He's quite excellent in it.

There is a problem with the character development and sketchy exposition that does not satisfy.

It shies away from some of the gruesome reality of war and it lacks a sense of peril as the film almost 'tags' the ones that are going to suffer from the outset.

It's not terrible but it's not great either.
