Mortdecai (2015) 7/10 While the story is nothing to write home about, it doesn’t, as it’s all about J.Depp’s excellent performance as Mortdecai, and his non stop shagging anyone bodyguard, played by Paul Bettany. Ewan McGregor is ok in a ‘I play myself in all my parts’ sort of way. Gwyneth Paltrow is ok, but again, I’ve always viewed her as an actress who thinks way too much of themselves. Jeff Goldblum is excellent, although he only appears briefly. |
