Crimes of Passion
A Ken Russell film, staring Kathleen Turner, looking.. better than she does these days. I didn’t want to say it - her legs look in perfect shape. Back to the story, Google it. The Blu-ray restored from 1984 looks good. For a Ken Russell effort, its watchable, better then expected, and outright hilarious in places.
China Blue/10
Next up.. the fully resorted Blu-ray of Runaway Train
That film is superb. Got the restoration you’ve mentioned but not got around to watching it yet. I’m after the 4K restorations of 2001 and The Deer Hunter. I think 4K restorations of Clint Eastwood’s Dollars trilogy is arriving this year.
I remember watching Crimes of Passion with Ken Russell’s commentary over it where he’s talking to the writer. Very interesting conversation but at one point they took about 5 minutes just gushing over Turner’s legs. Was a bit odd.
I'll have to have a re watch with the commentary on. I have the Arrow Video release 2K restoration. |
