Late to the party, but

12 Years a Slave 9/10

Absolutely mesmerising from start to finish. Nice performances from everyone, lovely cinematography, beautiful soundtrack (which bizarrely was by Hans BWARP Zimmer) and great pacing. Perhaps one or two instances of Oscar-baiting monologues, but that was it.

Anyone seen Widows?
