Spider-Man: Homecoming I think this must be mid-MCU 'you need to have seen them all and know them inside out' phase of films. It definitely felt like you were getting a chapter from a book rather than a story with a satisfying narrative arc. As someone who's watching of the MCU is fragmented and much delayed, I was hoping it'd stand up in isolation but, unlike some others in the series, it just didn't. Give me the Raimi films any day/10 |
