The Little Things - 6/10 Not much to say. Denzel mumbles his way through, Rami stares at everything, and Jared lets rip, and who seems to have the only fun throughout. Plods along pretty slowly towards the final third too. The Seven Ups - 7/10 Saw this on some Roy Scheider Sky Arts show, thought it was worth a shot. Takes the Buddy character from French Connection (as he got dumped for the sequel), leading a foursome of detectives acting as a rogue anti-crime squad, and eventually getting mixed up in a Mafioso kidnapping scheme. No frills 70s japes, and a car chase that's up there with the best of the era. |
